Built in 2019 our 3.5t horsebox has been built to the highest standard. It comes with a Full Height Stallion partition, Temperature controlled fan, Solid Aluminium plank floor, padded head and rear pads and camera to ensure your horse has a safe and comfortable journey.
With over 20 years combined experience within the Equine Industry, we can offer a trustworthy, reliable and professional service. We are here to help you with all your transporting needs. We offer an affordable, first class and friendly service, in our beautiful 3.5t Citroen Relay that is disinfected and checked before and after every use.
We are Fully Licensed Type 2 Equine transporters, based on the outskirts of the New Forest/ Dorset. We also hold a Certificate of Competence for Drivers and Attendants in Transporting Horses on Long Journeys.
With Safety being paramount, our Horsebox comes with a Vehicle Body Inspection Report which has been approved by the FTA and is Fully Insured to include Hire & Reward.
OUR STORY
Four Seasons Equestrian Transport, is a Fully Licensed Type 2 Equine Transport company, that is based on the outskirts of the New Forest/ Dorset. Our drivers and attendants are fully qualified, holding their certificates of competence and are insured for the transportation of livestock for long journeys (Type 2). We pride ourselves on providing a professional, honest and reliable equine transport service that operates throughout the UK. We also operate as a two person team therefore adding increased security for your horse throughout their journey.
Having noticed a gap in the market with a serious demand for reliable, affordable transportation, we decided to branch out into this side of the industry, expanding our already established business.
We have in the past been approached by many people enquiring as too wether we transport, this was for journeys such as moving horses to new yards, competitions or vet visits for treatments etc.
Us ourselves struggled to find transport for clinics, events etc noticing how most self hire boxes and our usual transporters were always booked.
This made us think about what can we do to help not just our local community but nationally too?
Equine transport is a significant part of our industry and is depended on by many. Transporting for us is another way of working with horses and being able to provide a top class service, which in turn means we can do our bit to help.

ABOUT OUR HORSEBOX
Our 3.5T Citreon Relay is kitted out to the highest of standards.
Inside the horse area has the following features:

Remote controlled ventilation system ensuring maximum comfort for the horses travelling.

We have space for either:

1 Horse.

1 Horse and 1 Pony.

This is to ensure we stay under the payload weight & maximum comfort for your horse/pony.

OUR SERVICES

All horses and ponies travelling with us will have access to hay/haylage/soaked hay at all times. They will also receive regular stops for water especially through the hotter weather. This is very important on long journeys to keep energy levels and hydration up.

They communicated brilliantly ahead of the journey and went out of their way to accommodate our newbie...
He hadn't travelled for 11 years and was a bit of a rescue case, but these guys made him as comfortable as possible and gave him a super smooth 3.5hr drive to us.
We were kept up to date with regular pics and updates on the journey - a fab experience start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again, I completely trust them to handle and treat the horses as if they were their own.
